  • 1. “Have you ever felt like Ember, getting really upset or angry, and how did you handle it?”

    2. “Can you think of a time when you learned something new, like Ember learning to control his breath, that helped you with a problem?”

    3. “What would you do if you had a friend like Ember who sometimes had trouble controlling their anger?”

Once upon a time, in a colorful valley full of flowers and rainbows, there lived a little dragon named Ember. Ember was different from other dragons; he wasn't big and he couldn't fly very high. But what made him truly unique was his fiery breath, which was much stronger than that of his peers.

Ember loved to play with his friends, but sometimes, when he got too excited or upset, his fiery breath would burst out uncontrollably. This often scared his friends and burnt the beautiful flowers in their playground. Ember felt sad and embarrassed. He didn't mean to cause trouble; he just couldn't control his anger.

One day, a wise old owl named Oscar noticed Ember's struggle. Oscar, known for his patience and wisdom, approached Ember with a gentle smile. "Ember, would you like some help learning to control your fiery breath?" he asked kindly.

Ember nodded eagerly, his eyes wide with hope.

Oscar taught Ember the secret of deep breathing. "When you feel angry or upset, close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to five, and then slowly breathe out," Oscar instructed.

Ember practiced this new skill every day. At first, it was hard. Sometimes he forgot and his fiery breath would escape. But slowly, Ember started to get better at controlling it. His friends noticed the change and were less afraid to play with him.

One sunny day, while playing tag, Ember tripped and fell. He felt his anger rising, but then he remembered Oscar's words. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and counted to five. When he opened his eyes, no fire came out! His friends cheered, and Ember beamed with pride.

From that day on, Ember became known not just for his fiery breath, but for his ability to stay calm and collected. He thanked Oscar for the valuable lesson and promised to always use his fiery breath responsibly.

And so, Ember the little dragon learned that with patience and practice, he could control his anger and be a good friend.
